Mortified at Work

What a friggin headache I have. I was totally mortified at work today! Between Kyle and Dan, I knew one of them would end up doing something. Well, I guess Dan didn’t really do anything too bad. He did give me some good advice which I think I’ll follow! So what happened?
So these last couple of days I’ve been talking about this kid Brandon who works in the mall. Well he’s cute and seems nice so I’m thinking maybe he’s someone I’d like to get to know. Well, you know me, once I get something in my head it becomes my mission and I talk about it constantly till I figure out what I want to do. So I was doing that with Kyle and Dan. Well today, Kyle and I were standing in front of the store doing our normal bullshitting routine when he calls over one of the guys from S&K. I told him to shut his mouth but he proceeded to quiz the guy about Brandon and then tells him, “Yeah, tell him to come over and see Jen tomorrow cause, ya know that’s why she’s been staring in there all the time! Hook my Jen up for me!” I could have killed him. I screamed at him for hours! I was like, “WHAT where you thinking?!” So now I can only imagine what will happen tomorrow. I mean how am I going to explain this to Brandon?! LoL.
Dan took the news pretty well though. He only made a few comments about Brandon. He spent most of his time making fun of me the whole time. He does make since though. I told him I don’t like rejection which is why I’m so apprehensive about going to talk to him. But then Dan goes into his story of being rejected 12 times in one night, and how I need to gain more confidence. I know he’s right, but I can’t let him know that.
Well I think I’ll go play with my new phone and watch Will & Grace. Life is too complicated to think right now!
