As Serious As Syphilis

I have this Homemedics foot spa thing that I snagged from GNC a few years back. It was awesome last time I used it, but now it sucks. I’ve only had it on for like 10 minutes and the water’s cold already! Maybe I didn’t put enough hot water in. I’m too lazy to fix it now so I’ll just deal.

I just took a three and a half hour nap. Now I’m awake. If I didn’t get out of bed to take my contacts out and take my drugs I probably would have been able to fall right back asleep, but I think I woke myself up too much!

Jose’s at home tonight. He’s got the house to himself because his family is in NYC so he’s watching the dogs. I’m picking him up in the morning and we’re going to pick up my cousin at the bus station. He went to Boston this weekend to look at apartments for next year. Word on the street is he shaved his facial hair off! It’s about time! Although I don’t think it’ll last, but it better be gone tomorrow when I get him or he’ll he walking home from Albany!

So Kyle has been officially promoted to the manager of Johnstown. I’m happy for him. He deserves it, but I’m going to miss him. I’m working out in his store next Friday and Saturday. I think I’m just going to sleep over my dad’s house in Broadalbin Friday night so I won’t have to drive back and forth from Rotterdam to Johnstown both days.

Marisa is past her due date and no baby yet! Although we did find out it’s actually a boy and not a girl. Kind of late now that she got a ton of girl stuff at her shower! I’d be so disappointed if that happened. I always wanted a girl, although now I kind of want a boy too. Well I actually want both, but I’m talking more along the lines of my first child. So anyway Marisa’s going to name him Adin (not sure on the spelling there) and Toni’s naming her’s Peyton. Interesting names, I prefer Pele however.

So I might be going to Siena in the fall now. Dan and I are still talking it over. He said to go down and talk to a transfer counselor about it and at the very least I can be non-matriculated for like a semester to bring my GPA to where they want and then switch over. So we’ll see where that goes. I’d rather go there than back to SCCC. But Siena will be harder and I can’t fuck around anymore. Plus at least then I’ll be working towards my BA and not whatever I’m working towards at SCCC. Also Dan told me to look into CLEP exams. He did a bunch of them and got right out of the classes. If I could do that for some of mine that’d be hot!

Jose and I are going to go to NYC next month, I think, to go to some Yankee games. That’ll be hot since I never went to one. I’m all excited. We’re going to stay over in a hotel and I told him a hot tub is must! He just doesn’t get my obsession with hot tubs!

Well instead of rambling on I think I’m going to attempt to fall back asleep. I’ll leave you with some of the latest Kyle sayings…
