Not How the Day Was Supposed to Go

Hey everyone. What I thought would be a good day turned out to be anything but. I got to work and around 10:30 I got a phone call from Melissa saying Peyton (Tonia's baby) didn't make it. I thought it was something none of us were expecting. She had him this morning and around 4am they brought him over to Albany Med where I guess they did some sort of surgery. I guess there they found out there was nothing they could do, or something to that effect where he was going to die anyway so they gave him some drugs so he could pass away peacefully.

I left work early to go be with Toni around 11:30ish. Everyone started pouring in shortly after that. At one point we had: Me, John, Marisa, Steve, Shelley, Lisa, Heather, Brandi, and Rhiannon.

They gave Toni Morphine right before we got there so she was pretty drugged up, awake but not feeling anything really. John and I left a few hours later to grab some lunch and while we were gone they gave her some other drugs to make her fall asleep because the Morphine was wearing off and she was getting upset.

Well guys, I need to get some sleep...it's been a rough day...
